Let me share with you what I'm going through. I met a "friend" some years ago through a mutual accquantance online via aol. We started out just chatting and sending each other quotes and funny messages here and there. He's inteligent, hard working and has a child who he takes care of himself. Over time it grew to us fulling chatting online and basically sharing our daily life stories. Though we each dated other people, we'd still keep in contact. Last year my heart's desires grew for him and I made it known. I thought it would be best I be honest with him so we can take things to another level. He didn't respond as I'd like but he didn't deny having feelings for me either.
Justus, it's months later and still nothing has changed. We only chat and haven't exchanged numbers yet. He has all my information and knows I would welcome him with opened arms if he wanted to spend time with me but he hasn't even suggested the thought. We chat all the time and I KNOW he feels something for me but he's so secretive that it's causing me to think he's not being honest with me about something.
My closest friends say I should leave him alone but I've falling in love with this man and it's not that easy. I want us to work so bad it hurts. Even though I have tried to leave him alone, one of us keep coming back. What can I do to convince this man that I am what he is waiting for? I just know we're meant to be. Any suggestions?
