Justus,
Every time my boyfriend and I go out somewhere, there is always someone he knows. He will then go talk to them and ignore me the whole night. Yes he will introduce me to them as his girlfriend, but that is as far as it goes. No one makes a special effort to talk to me, nor does my boyfriend include me in any of his conversations. Most of the night I just sit there and grin on the outside, but pout on the inside. I just want us to have a date night without being ignored. Is it impossible for him to pay attention to me for one night instead of hanging out with his friends all the time. Am I wrong for being jealous over the time he spends with his friends while we are out?

Hello HeatherB,
Since it appears everything else in your relationship is without complaint, here are a few suggestions: Plan to go to a more private setting in another town that is less likely consumed with his (and your) peers. On the other hand, stop being a show piece and join in the conversations. You said yourself he introduces you as his girlfriend so don't just sit there like an airhead, join in and have fun.

Thanks, I suppose I could be more involved in their conversations. It's not my cup of tea but I knew you'd say that. I'm going to surely suggest we go to more secluded areas. I want to enjoy him outside the house too but I want him all to myself. Not his buddies. thanks!
