I recently asked about my relationship with my man of 8yrs who hadn't proposed. From reading your response I gathered the nerve to ask him why hadn't he proposed and made our relationship concrete. He said he hadn't thought it was a big deal and that we knew we loved one another. So I told him how it would make me feel if we'd got married and represented a good strong family to our child-'ren' (which will have a sibling later this year, I'm pregnant). So he sat for a second... then says, "iight, let's do it." I said, 'OK,' he got up and left it at that. I guess I should be happy right? But why am I not? He hasn't brought it up again but he doesn't seem like it's a big deal either. Now I'm confused.
