Dear JustUs,
I'm a 32-year-old woman. My boyfriend of 11 years passed away almost two years ago. I loved him very much and miss him every day. Some well-meaning friends and family members have suggested a dating site.
JustUs, when does someone know if it's time to move on? I haven't been on a date in 13 years. I'm scared of putting myself out there again and getting hurt. Any advice would be great. Thank you.

Hello Jessica,
I don't suggest rushing back out in the dating game if you are not yet ready. People put too much emphasis on having a significant other. God can be your man. The word said seek him first and all else will be added to you. Don't concern yourself too much about what people say especially when they can't get it right themselves. You obviously take relationship seriously as you should, kudos! When the time comes, you will know because it won't be forced. Now don't misunderstand me, there is nothing wrong with online dating. With online dating, you actually get to know a person better mentally first before physical lust and all the other added pieces of the package deal that we look for in a mate. But to get that started, make sure you're ready and wanting.
