Dear JustUs,
I pray you do as you say by allowing your faith in God direct your words of wisdom to us all. Some of US need them more than others right now during times such as these! I’m sending this from my little couch/bed in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Egelston Children’s Hospital here in Atlanta. My husband and I just found out that our 6-month old daughter, Emma, has a tumor and she is having brain surgery tomorrow. I am scared that I will lose her. I’m scared she could be paralyzed or her development will be messed up and she will have a hard life. I’m scared they will find out the tumor is cancerous and she will need chemo. She’s only a little baby.
People have poured all their thoughts and prayers into us right now but to be honest, God is farthest from my mind. I’ve never been super religious but now I find myself doubting His existence more than ever. If there were a God why would he let my little girl have to have possibly life threatening surgery, Justus? I never in a million years thought that my husband and I would be in this situation.
I want to ask you to pray and all your reader’s to pray, to a God maybe I’m not sure I even believe in anymore. Pray that my baby will be okay. And that we can walk away from this and forget it even happened.

Sarah,
I'm sorry to hear about the trials of your daughter that's so young. God do exist and work in mysterious ways. I do try to practice what I'm preaching to others, to answer your question. I will and I hope that others that follow my site will as well pray for Emma's full recovery so she can have the opportunity to live a full life, in our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ name. May Yhwh have the glory when this healing take place. God uses the trials in our lives to bring us closer to him. He doesn't owe us an explanation because He can choose to give and he can choose to take away. But what kind of God would he be to want to cause harm upon his children? Remember he has also given us the power, authority, love and a sound mind to overcome the prince of THIS WORLD therefore we are equipped with what we need to survive. But if we're not knowledgeable to the enemies tactics and the Word of God, then how can we fight? God wants to give your daughter a testimony as well as yourself. He still performs miracles for his believers when he see fit. He also allow those tragedies to shape or turn someone future from one direction to another. For instance, having someone become an advocate because they had a life changing experience. Talk with God, he will talk back if you are sincere. I know you are seeking a miracle because you are reaching out to a religious orientated site. I do not know in which direction God wants to take you but I do know he wants your attention. Plead with him, ask him what do he want. I would like to know the out come of your situation so keep in touch please. Be Blessed!

Hi Justus,
I just wanted to let you know our baby is doing fine. She is recovering well, actually better than expected. I appreciate the prayers and hope that was blessed upon me when I couldn't do it on my own. I'm wanting to put this all behind us and forget it ever took place in our lives. But I know I won't. A part of me still is overly concerned. But I hope that is just the mother in me. The doctors are amazed and says her recovery is remarkable and she may be released by the end of next week if things continue to progress. My husband and his mother went out and brought Emma so many things yesterday for her return home. I've been here, haven't left her side. I'm feeling relieved but of course there are voices that keep me alert. I guess I just wanted to keep in touch and say, "thank you." Please don't forget me, I would like to continue to drop in from time to time. It feels good to release frustration sometime and not worry about the person judging me based on what they already know of me and not the problem at hand.

Sarah,
I am happy to hear the great news about Emma's recovery. Let's be careful to give God the glory so the healing process will continue. I will be more than happy to continue to hear from you from time to time as well. Just remember God wanted your attention and appreciation so don't every stop acknowledging him in all your ways.
