justus, I am 14 years old and want a girlfriend. I can wash up -- dress up -- but when it comes to asking a girl out, I choke up!
When I see a girl, I turn red and run the other way. What should I do? There's this girl her name M (I can't say her full name) and she asked to be my partner for our science project. I like her too but I freaked out when I had to sit next to her. So I did what I had to do...I faked sick to go home. But it's almost Tuesday and I'll have to go through it again. HELP!!

Hello,
Calm down my friend. It's natural to experience anxiety at your age or any other age when dealing with the opposite sex. You'd be glad to know she probably was as nervous as you were or even worse. I know you are still young but God built males to be leaders, protectors, and providers. Males are conquers. Girls are attracted to confidence in a guy, not arrogance but confidence. So even if you don't know what you are doing, at least act like it. I suggest you read some of the stories of the old testament in the Bible, most men of God are warriors. If all else fail tiger, tell a joke, girls love to laugh.
